Below are two of only a number of cases studies where UBP was able to demonstrate its commitment to its clients, resulting in a substantial annual cost savings. We negotiated on our client's behalf to ensure they were obtaining the lowest net cost of operating their chosen benefit program. In addition to conducting the annual review of the benefits prior to renewal and making recommendations, we also assisted in contract issues, claims administration, premium assistance, as well as conducting employee meetings to review the benefits and help reinforce what the organization is providing to its team.

Energy Services Labor Union:

The labor division of a major energy company approached UBP to conduct an annual review of their benefits and make recommendations with respect to the Plan Design and Insurance Carrier. The results were as follows:

Over the course of several years, UBP was able to save its client $71 million. This was achieved because of UBP's extensive experience in having worked with vast majority of major carriers and the fact that we're able to negotiate independently with a clear focus and understanding of our client's needs.

Building Trade Labor Union

A major building trade labor union requested UBP to perform an audit of their existing benefit plan and provide possible cost savings to this large organization. We subsequently discussed their current rate structure with fifteen other carriers to ensure that the best possible quote was maintained. The results were as follows:

Based on the current enrollment, over a three year time-span, UBP was able to save the Fund $410,000 annually for a total cost savings of $1.23 million. This equates to a combined savings of 29% from the previous carrier.
